Why we built this
"PhET is fantastic — but when it came time to write my student's transcript, I had no proof that any of it happened."
That quote, from a parent in a homeschool Facebook group, described a gap I'd seen repeatedly. Free simulation tools are everywhere. Documentation that colleges recognise is not.
The problem isn't the simulations — PhET, CK-12, and similar tools are genuinely excellent. The problem is the layer above them: the structured lab procedure that mirrors a real lab notebook, the signed report that records what was done, the standards alignment that tells an admissions officer this is real chemistry, and the hours log that satisfies a college's contact-hour requirement.
neoCatalyst Labs builds that documentation layer on top of quality interactive simulations. Every lab produces a signed, verifiable PDF report. The parent dashboard tracks hours automatically. The transcript package gives families everything they need for college documentation, in the format that admissions offices understand.
I build products for independent learners. neoCatalyst Labs is a single-founder company — I design, build, and maintain every part of the platform.
I personally respond to every support email and every question. This is not a VC-backed company with customer service staff — it's me, and I care about whether this works for your family.

This is an early-stage product. I'm transparent about that because you're making a purchasing decision and you deserve the full picture:
- 4 of the 26 planned labs are still in development.
- If neoCatalyst Labs shuts down (unlikely, but possible), I'd give at least 30 days' notice and make sure you can download everything.
- The PDF lab reports your student downloads don't expire and don't depend on my servers.
The 14-day guarantee exists precisely because I want you to be confident before you commit.
